(no subject)

... I just asked someone, and now I feel like I should know. Just what is the square root of pie, anyway?

(Pie are not square. Cornbread are square. Pie are round.)

So tired. Tired and lonely and sad and pissed and upset and hurt and abandoned and exhausted and staring at the pile of work I have to do and GAH. Stupid sewing and writing. Should call the Pirate and make sure we're actually going to Faire tomorrow.

I did figure out what I'm going to be for Halloween: Mad Maudlin. Rags galore. Maybe I can get to Wal-Mart today and then go into a cutting frenzy and get that cut out today, along with the cape. And a couple shirts. I also got my hands on 1500 or so silk roses of assorted colors. Pastel pirate shirts with FLOWERS for all!

So tired. And ... really not fit for company. Sorry.

ETA: For those of you uncultured heathens who might ask me who Mad Maudlin is... the best known verses, I think.

The Christmas List Meme Of which I have been reminded by a good friend. So, all I want for Christmas, barring my two front teeth.

1. Sleep.Or a sewing basket that actually has pockets to separate the spools so I don't have threads wandering all over my sewing basket from spools. You don't even have to buy it for me, just point me to one. Like a tacklebox. But for spools of thread. Oi. *kicks sewing box across the room*
   
2. Yellow Submarine, the film.

4. A book contract (no one is obligated to give me this one, but since I got my first short story contract for my birthday last year, I figure it can't hurt to hope)
