And then, for some reason, I went off on a Raymond Watts kick. Buh. Yeah, I don't know.

So sleepy. STILL. But on the plus side, yesterday was a good day. Saw Bros. Grimm and Transporter 2. Which, in retrospect? Have a lot in common. They're both movies heavy on the shiny and the sexy, and they both have utterly implausible moments and plots. They also both have random Frenchmen, which was kind of funny. Except the random Frenchmen in Bros. Grimm were more annoying than interesting. And the random Frenchman in Transporter 2 was cool.

I'm the cook.

Anyway. Um. Today? Work. As long as I can, and then sewing. And probably sleeping. And writing. And then coming on in the evening and tagging, unless a certain someone needs me to read somethign again and then beat them over the head. Word#4! Nyah!

Adventures in Sewing

The dust on my sewing machine is 3mms thick. Holy shit. Someone make me a sewing icon?

I have a good sturdy iron. My sewing machine is up and running again, with a proper needle and a good color of thread. I just sewed my first few seams (putting darts in).
GODS, it feels good to be doing this again.

I can, in fact, French-seam with the best of them. BOO-YAH!

These sleeves are, in fact, 3 to 3.5 feet in circumference. Holy crap.
