Apr. 3rd, 2005 12:35 pmAnd, of course, going to the M3s means I am completely wrecked the next day and good for nothing but lying in bed. Actually, not this time, we managed to leave at 11 or so last night. Which is a good three hours beforetimes.
adsartha, I didn't take notes, but I'll have observations for you later.
Sin City. Was gorgeous. It was absolutely gorgeous, I adored everyone and everything in it, including That Yellow Bastard. And, because by now I suppose everyone expects me to: 2 Blades, 1 Child-Bride, at least 2 Warriors, a couple of either very decayed Sorcerers or Madmen, one Brute. And a Tragedienne, come to think of it. The whole thing was wonderful, very noir, very comic book. All the actors were perfect. I am so buying that movie when it comes out on DVD. And all the damn action figures. And whatever else I can get my grubby little hands on.
Did some work with the M3 on the thingiemagummy. He's STILL writing in photoshop. But he's getting better. I liked what I saw. Um. Got two pages to edit, again. Double-spaced! That's right, he can be taught! Um. Thingie. This ought to go much quicker. I still have icons to make and things to paint, things to write. Not sure what else I really have to say. We went out for pizza after the movie and sat and talked for at least an hour and a half just... burbling about movies. Heh. The M3 and I played our usual game of movie trivia. He apparently .... and I think he's the only guy I know of... also likes Labyrinth and could watch it over and over again. Feel free to speculate. He then proceeded to tell me I would not win at a Labyrinth trivia contest which, as most of you may or may not know... HAH! And then I trivia'd him into the ground. I win.
Ok. Um. Bleh. Today is a day of painting and iconning, so I am off. Also a day of shaking my fist at Ben Franklin for stealing my hour of sack-time. MY SAFETY IS MY SLEEP! Dammit.
