Jan. 30th, 2005 08:21 pmMmmm Shadowrun. Shadowrun went entertainingly well. I brain-suckied a major NPC and got more information out of his head than I probably should have, but it served the purposes of the story well. Plus it was funny. And then I got to call the Johnson (except he's not really a Johnson, it's more like my character and the Johnson work together) and go "Hi, I have Mr. Boddy's brain here. Want to fly over and discuss terms for the information?" And after the man got done drooling he said he'd be there in four hours. And it was great. I love my characters.
And then someone hands me something to edit (and oh dear sweet gods it needs edited) and is all shy and cagey about what he wants to do with it. But also kind of enthusiastic and sweet and now I am a writing tutor. This is... weirdly pleasent. And then Fluffy asks me to edit something and all of a sudden I'm Ms. Writing Nanny. or something. Weird.
And I probably got way too little sleep last night. Although I can't remember what I dreamed about. Chances are it was something weird, I remember waking up after about 5 hours of sleep and not being able to get back to sleep for a little while. But I can't remember ... ah well.
Anyway. Um. Life is good. Writing and editing goes apace, even though I've been sorely procrastinating working on Storms. Which I should do. If only because it's Chloe's story. Um. Right. And my brain is so scattered right now. Off to collect the pieces.
