Apr. 30th, 2004 07:04 pmDrybrushing makes the baby Jesus cry. Along with my brush.
On the other hand I'm slowly getting good at it. And I just started practicing today. And I'm using cheap Wal-Mart brushes, so they won't be hard to replace once they finally die. Which is always a plus.
And in today's adventures in painting I have finished one figure and painted two rats. And then I tested out my two kinds of sealer: matte and semi-gloss. Both of them kill an appropriate amount of brain cells; the semi-gloss smells different from the matte. The semi-gloss is kinda nice but the bf's right: it's a little too shiny for minis. I might, however, use it on random other projects. Definitely going with the matte. So now I can seal my other two painted minis.
Tomorrow.
My life is so boring to read about.
