"Play it, Sam. Play it again."

And now for a randomness of topics.
Big Brother is on LiveJournal!
Waugh! At least I think that's the Big Brother who just added himself to my friend's list. Wahoo and whee! This ought to make for some interesting days, one hopes.
I got my second rejection letter today!
This one was much more promising. It included an actual signature, a real letter, and the "we didn't think it was right for us but feel free to keep sending material" line. I love that line! Now I have to figure out what to send them. Maybe another walking undead story. It was a suspense mag, after all, and the story I sent them wasn't exactly fluffy puppies but it wasn't all that suspenseful either. But, yay! I love getting mail from publishers. Even if it is rejection letters, that's the best kind of rejection. And so quick, too!
Web-spinning frenzy
I'm revamping my web page, mostly because everything personal I could think of to put on the web is pretty much on LiveJournal anyway. So it's just going to be my writing page. And then to that I'm going to add a link-exchange thing wherein I sort links that people (or maybe just my friends) toss me and put them up in some kind of chart/index thingie. And then I'm going to update DC.com too. Now that I figured out how I can upload to my web domain thingie.
And a poll
It's about time to start cycling things out of my mp3 player. Actually it's more than time. Now, for those of you who object to such things, let me note that the poll (polls, really, 'cause this isn't a fraction of what's available) consists of all the CDs in mine and my boyfriend's collection. I rip stuff, stick it on my mp3 player, and then delete it when I cycle it out again. Because mp3 players are so much easier than CD players to run with: they don't skip. So, a poll.
