Dropped off the car at the shop today. Battery light keeps flickering on and off, which means it's probably the alternator. Dammit. I suppose I should be grateful, it's 10 years old... older, really... and it's not like it's given me any real trouble before now. But still, dammit.
Different, unless I buckle down and don't write anything or get on AIM much for the next two weeks, is not getting finished this month. Argh. I should just buckle down and do it. But it's so big...
On the other hand Sofia is coming along nicely. I got all the scenes laid out on the white board yesterday, arranged them all, wrote it all down, wrote down what absolutely has to get placed in sequential order. Now I need to go to the library and get out a couple Faulkner books and try and remember what this was like to read. I wonder, too, if I should just try and make a more normal version of the book, and then sell that. I guess I can work on that after I get the first version out. Let's see, what's a good date to get that out by... *checks calendar* April 5.
This is one of the scarier things I've ever done. Hoo boy.
