No. Just... no. No. Bad. No cookie.
*sighs* Well, yesterday was fun. And by fun I mean excruciatingly boring and unproductive. Went out, had a wonderful chinese food lunch with the boyfriend, then went to the gaming store and spent more money than I should have on miniatures. But at least I have stuff to paint now.
And then, ohh then. Then the excruciating happened. Went over to the boys' house, wherein the younger proceeded to be goofy and not particularly interesting while their cousin came over and stressed about the RP game. I swear, that boy's going to give himself an aneurysm before his eighteenth birthday. It's a game for crying out loud! It's supposed to be fun! And if it's not, well, quit doing it!
Sigh.
So then we went down into the basement and painted. Until the sister came home and whined, and the boys chased us out of the basement so they wouldn't get yelled at. Never mind that the elder is 30 years old. He should bloody well be capable of yelling back. Someone cut his balls off a long time ago, I think.
And it just got worse from there. We went back to the mall. Stood around for an hour and a half. Went to the bookstore. Sat around for two hours. I read three books in that time. I haven't been so bored in a long time. And I could have been staying at home and getting work done. But apparently I need to "get out more."
The bf and I are going to have a talk.
Ugh. Oh well, today's been reasonably productive. I got up the better part of an essay on worldbuilding for
adsartha. I didn't get much sleep, but I did get a couple stories written and some background on Sofia cleared up and that kind of thing. And ... I guess I'll finish that up later tonight. And write a couple more stories. Sigh.
My head hurts. And I'm still tired. And I'm still annoyed.
Definitely painting tomorrow before game.
