Heh. As though there was any doubt. ;)

The last big family dinner of the year was tonight; tomorrow one set of aunt-and-uncle goes home. And then no one goes home until I and the other aunt leave on Tuesday; one aunt, one uncle, my mother, and my grandfather all live in the city. So it'll still be chaotic, just a little less so. But I had a wonderful talk with uncle Michael, about one of my novels that he read and really liked, and it was ... so much fun. Helpful, and encouraging, and he's so nice and good with giving advice. He's going to read the rest of them later and my aunt's got some more copies, and my grandfather's going to make me some editing copies. I do so love my family.

Not much to say, really. I need to type up my thingie for natlitcrepro, and I was a good little member and voted in the two auditions that were up. But there was a conversation in the older one that really bothered me. A lot of what seemed to be pointless sniping and petty nastiness hidden behind a thin veneer of civility. I don't like it. But I said I would stick it out till the first cycle was over, and I will.

Ah well. Not much else to tell. And I'm off to Blockbuster to return my very late Oz video *sheeps* and rent A Perfect Murder. I really should sit down and watch LotR:TT:EE one of these days. And aren't those acronyms getting ridiculous?
