Wheeee... you never know what's going to turn up next. That's what I love about life.
So, I get a call around noon, one, or so, from my darling boyfriend. He wants to know if I've checked my mail yet. Why? Because he apparently got something about going and sitting for an exam for 'communications officer'... whatever the bloody hell that is. So, a few minutes after he hangs up with both of us figuring it's related to that dispatch application we put in months ago, the mail truck arrives. I go down and check the mail. Yep. I've got one too.
So now I've got a test I've got to sit for on the 18th. I don't understand.
The RP continues to eat my life. This time in weird and disturbing ways. Julianna, a character I wrote in a Babylon 5 fanfic a long time ago, has resurfaced. Again. In a different iteration, this time. Firstly, she was a character... younger than Sebastian, the main Bab5 character... and she sort of played Robin to his Batman. Not quite. She was the younger protege and student who had a crush on him and asked him straightforward questions he never really thought about. And then in the second iteration she'd married him (they were of an age, and she was a witch, and he was a sorcerer.. no Vorlons involved) but she'd died four years after they'd had their daughter. And now, in this third iteration, she loves him, he ... was faling in love with her but then Alice came along and ... well, it's probably better this way. But still.
Ugh. Complicated.
And
3pipeproblem just pointed me to this fan-fiction on fanfic.net that's giving me headaches. It's an LXG fic that's... gyah. The writing is just... purple. There's no other real way to put it. I'm in awe of how bad this writing is. It's not really that grammatically bad, but the girl needs to stop drawing things from the romance writer's thesaurus.
More later.. asprin now.
