I feel like such an idiot. I forgot basic academic theory. As a result today, instead of being the productive day I had expected/wanted it to be, was an exercise in futility and frustration.

I completely forgot how to take notes. I did. I went through and glomped parts of the book, and completely forgot that if you're writing a paper you also organize your notes in the format you're writing the paper in. In this case, since it's a web page, I should have organized my notes in the format that the web page was going to be in. So instead of having some carefully organized notes of relevant material I had a bunch of random notes on vaguely relevant trivia.

Ah well.

I was a little productive anyway. I put up the next chapter of Shattered Globe on fanfic.net. Later on in the week I'll probably revise it and put it on the website... make it a bit more coherent and a bit less chaotic. I've got half of the next chapter in Understanding, need to finish that, and I neeeeeed to finish the next chapter of Requiescat. Before my head explodes.

Ah well. At least I have Absolute Beginners to keep me sane. Which, if you know anything about that movie, is such a contradiction in terms...

In the next town over, stratfordbabe (Bernadette Peters) makes fun of lex_of_green (Dreyfus, Julia Loui) for enjoying continental drift. Afterwards, copperbadge (Anne Heche) and drtristessa (Kiera Knightley) kiss at a computer store.
