So then over the weekend it turned out Murdock, he of the incredibly susceptible to fleas, has been gnawing or licking some on his belly, and it's getting raw. Not much of a problem, we just need to make sure to keep it clean and put a cone on while the antiseptic dries, bonus points because the boy can just nick cat-safe antiseptic wipes from work.
He just has to say the WORD cone while we're discussing it in the morning and Murdock goes tear-assing down the hall to the other side.
