I have absolutely no appearance of organization at work, though somehow I manage to keep things going sufficiently. At home I'm more organized, so I guess the opposite? I hear you on the only so much organization, though. After a certain point the brain turns to jelly.
That would probably work just as well, but I'm also paranoid. And, more likely the real reason, the bank is the next block over from my work. Definitely need somewhere safe to put the identity docs, the house deed, probably the car title documents, and a copy of any rental agreement I might end up scrawling down for ass-coverage of all. (Mostly I'm listing this down because I'm at the point of if I don't write this down as I think of it I will forget it all. So tired.)
But nooo given what I know of such things, yeah, the less hoisting the better. I do the hoisting and carrying for a living and even I don't want to touch that.
