Things I Have Done Today (So My Brain Can Just Shut The Hell Up About It):

1. Did some Memrise
2. Finished Haven 2x07
3. Did a physics lesson on Khan Academy
4. Went to the dentist without complaining, got done with the cleaning in 20 minutes.
4a. NO CAVITIES.
5. Got my shipping done in a timely fashion.
6. Made up a shopping list for drawing supplies and
6a. Did not buy any of them immediately and
6b. Kept it down to the things which will make starting to learn drawing simple, pencils and sketchbook.

(This is actually really hard for me because when I get into an art or craft hobby I immediately go MUST DO ALL THE THINGS and end up dropping out, so to speak, because I can't do all the awesome shit immediately or use all the awesome toys I got. So. Really proud of that.)

7. Calculated the amount of Manos Serena I would need to do this shawl (hint: a lot) and
7a. Did not buy it. (See above note.)
7b. Also found another yarn we sell that will work and is half the cost. And machine washable. Fewer colorways, but still.
8. Wrote background for an upcoming thing when, after an ill-advised glance at Ravelry, I wanted to knit.
9. Checked stuff in like a good shopgirl when, after an ill-advised glance at Ravelry, I wanted to knit.
10. Edited when, etc.
11. Frogged out the second attempt at the second fingerless glove and started it anew instead of lighting the whole thing on fire like I kind of wanted to.
12. Brushed my teeth and washed my face like a good courtesan, dammit, even though I'm falling asleep at the keyboard.
13. And scooped litter even though same.
14. Related to 8, finished all the blurbs for the background for the upcoming thing, even if I'm only going to use one or at most two of them extensively.
15. Related to 11, finished the cuff on the third attempt at this stupid glove.
