So, a while back... three years now? Must be around two and a half, when I went to DragonCon as a panelist the first time, this is my third panel, so at least two and a half three years, lireavue and I started this blog. It started out a lot shorter, I swear. But somehow we ended up doing 7-10-13k word recaps on TV episodes, specifically Haven, Grimm, and Person of Interest (we dropped Grimm and Person of Interest for hating them after a while). Not just recapping the action but analysing what the lighting and script and so on was telling us, dropping in little details about how things work not on television like Judaic beliefs or military stuff, things we knew personally or could research through knowing people who knew them. We call it Murderboarding, after the concept of the big bulletin board to solve the murder with the bits of string and pictures and notes and everything.
So in this case, mini boarding is what I'm attempting to do, just watching an episode through and taking notes of what first occurs to me so I'm not looking through 20 pages of notes on a single episode of a 23 episode season in the middle of the panel.

Its kind of working?
