Mar. 4th, 2013 07:02 amComparison of adjectives:
You put níos (more) before a special form of the adjective.

An bhfuil ceann níos éadroime agat? Do you have a lighter one?
Tá ceann níos fearr ag teastáil uaim. I want a better one.
Teastaíonn car níos lú uaim. I want a smaller one.
Some useful verbs:
Díolann (sells):
An ndíolann sibh stampaí? Do you sell stamps?
An ndíolann sibh páipéir nuachta? Do you sell newspapers?
An ndíolann sibh tobac? Do you sell tobacco?
Díolaimid. We do.
Ní dhíolaimid. We don't.
Glacann le (accepts):
An nglacann sibh le seiceanna? Do you take cheques?
An glacann sibh le cártaí creidmheasa? Do you take credit cards?
Glacaimid. We do.
Ní ghlacaimid. We don't.
And that's going to require all the review ever this week. Yay.
I ended up falling asleep somewhat later than I expected and woke before my alarm, and I'm not sure how or why. But I feel entirely rested. I'm kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop and it might happen later in the day, but, hell, I'll take it? Don't entirely remember what I dreamed about, either. Bollocks.
Today's statement of intent is pretty much: line edits, line edits, and maybe a bit of fanfic. Our blogwork is down to recaplyses, back ones of Person of Interest and Haven, front ones of Grimm once that airs on Friday. Unless we want to do profiles and such of the folk from PoI like we did for the other shows, we're out of essays to write. Which is kind of a relief. And it didn't seem like those were getting as much interest anyway.
(Also, you know, remembering to pay bills. I need to do that, too.)
