Well, holy crap. I think I'm getting the hang of that.

Dropped off keys with the contractor today, got permit paperwork, getting excited. I think this weekend will be all the yard-work, though, getting some clippers and knives and things from family and Home Depot and going over and pulling things out of the walk and the koi pond. I have no idea what the hell is growing in what used to be the gardens, but I'm pretty sure nothing was intended to grow either on the brick walk or in the koi pond. So, all of that can get the fuck out. And instead of composting the contractor suggested we just toss it in the koi pond, his guy'll bring in the mulch, and it can all sit and mulch. The one sad part of all of this (assuming nothing goes wrong, which, heh. Oh House.) is that because we got such a late start with ENDLESS BANK ISSUES OH MY GOD and then permit getting time, it won't be done till early-mid November. Poop. But at least now we're getting into the meat of the work.

Also getting the distinct feeling I've hit the point where I need to make a list of all the shows I need to catch up on. Sons of Anarchy being one of them. And Fringe, and Warehouse 13. I'm actually up to date on Castle, for a wonder. Okay, so, three shows, that's not so bad. Sons of Anarchy may be tomorrow, tonight is Grimm and Haven watching and analyzing. We posted our first Haven analysis yesterday! I so happy. It was full of "Oh BOYS," like you do when you're watching Haven. Still kind of absurdly pleased that Dwight is now a regular cast member.

And I finished the first draft of the Grimm analysis for the season finale! Tweaks, observations, and analysis hopefully to be worked in or straightened out (there may have been rambling) later today, because I was kind of half exhausted when I wrote it. Then caps when I get home. And I need to figure out what my schedule is for housework this weekend, now that I think about it. Ughbleh. Weeding, all of the, can probably be done in one day. But which day and what hours. Decisions.
