Yesterday was just too damn exhausted and too chaotic to get any languages done, apparently. Today it's too wet to go walkies, which means I need to remember to do it later. Oof. And maybe head down and try and find the tophat. And oh man, Alphas went exactly where you would expect a show involving a mind-control type power in a low-self-esteem person to go and I did not need to see that. And, hey, look! It's evil Toe-moss! Who orchestrated the whole thing. I think I'm going to die from the strength of that surprise.

Costuming is actually going pretty well. I should have all my costume built pretty soon, the key seeming to be not doing too much at a time so I don't overwhelm myself, it only took me four or five years to figure that out, and then there will be figuring out how to put the lightwire together. I think it's mostly just going to have to be glued on to strips of fabric and then the strips of fabric sewn on to the coat, so if I want to launder it I can pick off the lightwire and launder the coat. I just have to figure out how to splice it together and/or cut it from sheets. That's going to be the really tricky part.

Things and stuff. Trying not to freak out over house purchasing again, trying not to freak out over, well. Everything. I'm freaking out about money again, this time with much less reason, I think, but mostly because I haven't heard a goddamn thing so far. And I would really like to know what the hell is going on.

The last time this happened the appraisal fucked us over a barrel without lube. I'm not sure I can take that again.

Oh well. Work today looks relatively light as long as I don't get distracted and keep efficient, which means I can hopefully do some more beading on Lovelace's gloves this afternoon. Heh, and the other thing I decided to do is print up a small notecard about Ada Lovelace and carry it around in some sort of Victorian card case (I need to find me one of those) and hand it out to introduce myself. About the difference engine. Because I am geeking out over this way too much.
