Japanese and Russian today because I had the Japanese typed out, was going to type something else, and then promptly fell asleep instead. I really need to, among other things, figure out if I've just been too busy to write or if I just need a little more rest and then go or what. On the plus side, I have my netbook back, which means writing at work is at least a little more plausible. I can open gdocs and not have to worry about copying over my work from work to home, and access the stuff I have at home. Yay cloud.

Tired. Yesterday I got home, did my stuff, guitar and Japanese and making dinner and so on, and I started writing. And then I just collapsed. Instead of actually being able to write, there was no focus whatsoever. I ended up going to sleep about an hour, hour and a half early.

Let's see if today will be better.

I made the mistake of doing German out front, with the end result that one question got answered and a bunch more got typed up. Oops. Right then, maybe that can get finished tonight or tomorrow.

So, I have my pocket ninja back, and now I'm paranoid that at some point it's going to fall over when I'm not looking. Not the best/most ideal state of things, but hey. On the other hand, at least I'm still not keeping any data I can't afford to lose on here. I need to get a thumb drive to transfer stuff over to, but that's about it. Since chips don't seem to work on my laptop.

Oogh. I have finished spinning a lot of randomly pink fuzz. Now I have to figure out something to ply it with. I also have a bunch of wool for yarn setting experiments in the microwave. Note to self: try with 1 cup water, 3/4 cup water 1/4 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup water 1/4 cup citric acid (sure, why not) and... something. I'll figure out the rest of it later, first I need to spin the yarn and then get a steamer. Blargh. So many things to do.

... Okay, now I know what I'm going to have to grind at the end of all of this. Conjugation. Verb conjugation especially in the simple forms and adjective and copula verb plain and polite forms. Lots. And lots. Of grinding. I'm not sure why that's not sticking in my head as readily as the rest, but it isn't.

On the plus side? Much more energy today. This is much better. I actually don't feel like falling over the moment I've finished my Japanese.

I will have a Kindle tomorrow, I have a working netbook, I like this arrangement. I can buy language textbooks from the Kindle store but none of them seem to actually be textbooks I would learn from. There's a few that look promising, and the verb books, and probably a number of other books that I should not get because I do not need to be learning more than three languages at once, my god. I have bad, bad impulses and should be sat upon. That said, I am glomping some samples of Irish phrasebooks so I can get an idea of what I'd need to know for Long Road. If nothing else, a grasp of sentence structure would be helpful.

And now, writing. Somehow I got my mojo back, I have no idea how, but I did, and I mean to keep it going as long as possible. I have porn to write, and outlines, and a book or three to edit. Three books to edit, admittedly. I think I must be insane.
