No, seriously, what the fuck am I doing for Russian day to day. Argh. Apparently the answer is translating the Gods and Monsters intro. This could take a while. Though now I'm tempted to translate it into Spanish and French, which will take considerably less time.

Anyway. I think I did manage to get the draft of the first issue of Gods and Monsters into the email mailing thingie, and I just need to futz with the titles and then figure out how to schedule it to go at a pre-arranged time. And now it's All White Lightning All The Time, I guess? And Spellbound, finishing that so I can start Blood in the Gutters tomorrow. My life is incredibly prosaic and boring, and I suspect it'll continue to be that way if I become a full time writer. Sigh. Anyway. And someone smack me if it turns into evening and I haven't done German yet.

(Apparently I can remember to do German, just not update this. But I'm on a new section of the questionnaire!)

притяжательный -> притяжательное (because the noun it's defining is местоимение, in neut.)

Много время и работа из другой люди строил это сад -> и работа других людей строили...

И будет исчезать зимой. - I think it'll be better to add И всё (это) будет исчезать зимой.

Я платила много искусные работники для его. -> Я платила многим искусным работникам I think!

I needed something! I have no idea where my kindle charger is, and I don't have the fairy books in hard copy. (And eeek that's a daunting list of corrections.)

(Also it is a daunting kind of translation! It's freeform text, fiction writing, and wordcrafting. Of course it'll be difficult to get correct from the get-go. But, like I said, it was comprehensible, and that's a lot!)

At this point, I think that's all I'll aim for! And if some of the ways I translate turns of phrase convey a similar mood as well as making grammatical/conventional sense, bonus.

Pretty much. Being understood and being able to read are the two main things. The rest is extra. :)
