Man. Everything I'm hearing about Once Upon A Time's most recent episode is telling me this is going to suck, hard. Which is kind of amazing for a show that is, overall, really poorly written. I blame Carlyle.

On the other hand, now begins the real chance that we might hear back from the bank. Which means of course that I'm going to be checking my email quasi-obsessively all day. And all night, until OUAT distracts me, hopefully to be followed by Robert Carlyle inna red thong. I also seem to have gone straight back to Leverage again, given half a moment's thought and a rewatch of the most recent season finale. Or whatever it was that triggered my abrupt fascination with poking Quinn in the soft spots.

I really, really want to listen to certain songs on my iSis and I know that if I do that, the whole Rumplestiltskin/Gold thing is going to kick back up again. So I won't. But I want to. And none of this is helping my slowly increasing headache. Yes, I took painkillers.

Irish is actually starting to be easier to read and figure out! Even if, as always, my vocab needs major work. But the exercises are getting better, I can read and translate things pretty smoothly, and while I think I'll go over the last chapter and do some more made-up exercises just to make sure the points are hammered into my head, it seems like things there are going along pretty smoothly too. I love it when languages go smoothly and just settle into patterns in my brain. Om nom tasty patterns.

Right. If this headache ever settles, it seems like it's slow enough that I could get some writing done today as well as work. If. We'll see. Which does not fill me with boundless enthusiasm.

Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

Ha ha, it's true! During the scene in the sheriff's office she was teasing him like he was a puppy after his favorite toy, and I just kept thinking "You do realize that he's going to DESTROY you for this later, right?" Revenge wise, I think in deference to the genre Rumple should go with the classics: Hot iron shoes first, then rolling her down a hill in a nail-studded barrel, THEN drawing and quartering her via horses. And then finish it off by throwing her remains in bonfire, over which everyone in town will roast delicious marshmallows.

I think Regina's just so consumed with her own desires that she's now incapable of seeing dangers barreling towards her until they smack her in the face.

And yes. More of her is much desired. She's slated for the Grumpy episode, so yay!

I was watching that with my heart in my throat, because if she'd dropped it...goodbye Maine.

I was so afraid she was going to drop it until she turned her taunting into a formal deal. I don't think even the Queen is willing to risk the consequences of breaking a deal with Rumplestiltskin.

And then she went and showed just how badly she lied to him and broke his toy and we know the revenge is coming her way like the five o'clock train.

Now I wonder if it will be Henry who finds her...
