Context ALWAYS helps. ;) Ugh, more Arabic this weekend, eek.

If I'm remembering right, it more requires specialized equipment than specialized knowledge, although obviously it requires both to recognize the compounds and things. A mass spectrometer would be able to do it, I think. Which is found in most forensics labs all over the place. And if I remember the way a mass spectrometer works he was basically doing the work of a mass spectrometer BY HAND, which is unnecessary and time consuming.

But, that's if I remember correctly. I could very well be mis-remembering, it's been a while.

If John does not punch him in the S3 premiere I will be disappoint. XD
