Is it bad when I'm watching an old episode of Matlock, watching this lawyer fumble and die on the stand and confess to all sorts of horrible defense lawyer practices...
... and all I can think is, Man, Shore would have just flat out lied and said 'No, I didn't withhold any exculpatory evidence.'?
Of course I then learned that it was all part of some elaborate plot, so he might have planned to break down on the stand. I don't know, I didn't see the end.
