[Tarot] King of Coins

Iiii need to swallow my pride and ask my Mom for that college loan money she said she was going to send. Or clarify if she was going to send it, because now I'm questioning my memory. No, I'm not hurting for money, before anyone freaks, but it would be a hell of a lot nicer if I had some additional financial padding and didn't have to keep an eye on my bank balance and hope one check clears before I write another. Speaking of coins. Eh, more on that later on an actual journal entry.

Tarot!

Russian Tarot
A king sits on a throne, dressed in purple and salmon with what looks like a decorated axe blade sticking up from behind the throne. He's got reddish-brown hair and a beard, his crown, and is holding the coin like a shield on his lap.

Spiral Tarot
Again with the red, although this time it's a reddish brown and his robe has grapes on it, the way the Queen's does roses. (Which, that's interesting. Wheat, roses, grapes. Meaning?) This king is vaguely blondish brown-haired, his crown is appropriate to the culture of origin, and he has that same weird triangle symbol. He seems to be presenting the approximately plate-sized pentacle to someone.

Crow's Magick Tarot
A tiger, lounging. A bird of prey flies overhead, and a red moon to the left.

... so, the King and Queen of Pentacles are Justin and Maggie DuMorne. (From the Spiral Tarot Littlebook: "The King of pentacles is a kidn, loving man who enjoys good food and wine and is financially secure. He is a successful businessman, respected for his persistent if sometimes stubborn endeavors. He is a loyal and steadfast lover who can become possessive in some circumstances.") That's... good to know. I think I'm actually going to hang onto that as a mental picture to give me an idea of how to read that.

For those of you who don't have the first clue what I'm talking about, the King of Coins is apparently a traditional-style patriarch of an economically and to some extent emotionally successful dynasty. When it's turned on its head, of course, it's turned on its head.
