The Blacklist continues to amuse me, but this week in general was less amusing and more sighing over Robert Sean Leonard's character, and not in the he's so attractive way. This week was blatantly about The Things Men Will Do For Their Children, too, as lampshaded by James Spader's character, and that just makes me sigh, roll my eyes, and long for a show without manpain. Which, you know, Sleepy Hollow at least balances out manpain with chicks being awesome. I am now all about the Abbie-Jennie-Katrina kicking ass show, with Ichabod running along behind to shoot things and be supportive. I've come to this realization, he's very good at supporting the lead woman, but it's a lot rarer than usual that he is the lead. Usually he's acting in emotional, logistical, or tactical support to the woman who is the lead at the time.
Anyway. What else did I enjoy this week. I enjoyed the ultimate conclusion of Witches of East End, which involved the younger sister putting to rest some emotional concerns they had, rather literally. I did not enjoy the leadup, which involved a lot of people making a lot of stupid mistakes and me and Anna screaming at the characters to stop being morons. Because none of those spells ever end badly. Mentalist continues to at least not offend me as I follow it basically only to find out who Red John is and what the fuck his pathology is, because right now it seems self-contradictory.
I also had a mini revelation that may yet turn into a larger revelation... actually it's sort of a cascading series of revelations. Somewhat to do with Courtesan School but also to do with self-image, and goals changing as one progresses to them, and so on. I'm not sure what to do with this revelation. I think I do need to re-read the Book of the Courtesans, though.
Anyway. More Nanoing today, trying to catch up I think, and doing languages appropriately, and. No, I think that's it around day jobligations. Maybe I can clean up my workstation some. I'm pretty sure we don't have anything major incoming.
