Normally it is a very, very sweaty/panting experience. My SO and I don't go to sparring nights (which would be a lot more contact) because we're just not at that level yet, but even just practicing with a partner involves light physical contact + being in their space. The plans are to have everyone practicing solo in their own 2m box. But like... that's a lot of bodies in and out, sweating and panting, in the same general area.
And as you say, humans are humans. I have yet to be ANYWHERE since this happened where people were consistently adequately spacing, wearing masks, and sanitizing/washing hands. I really don't think doing high intensity calisthenics in an enclosed space is gonna help with that.
