Seven. And a half. Whole hours. Of sleep. I can barely believe it. But apart from the cough that sounds like I'm dying I actually feel a hell of a lot better. My energy's up, enough so that I got up, knitted a round in my knitting, did some writing, fed some cats, showered, poured drano down the shower to finish getting rid of the clog, caught up on stuff, put the boy's pizza in the oven, and rinsed some dishes towards the dishwasher all by 8.15. I woke up at 6.45.
The trick now, really, is going to be not overdoing it thanks to the whole "Holy shit I feel better I think I'll go for a walk!" type sudden burst of energy. Fortunately a lot of work left over today involves sorting through papers, emailing people, filing, and other things I can do sitting my ass down at my desk or at worst, standing.
Plus apparently doing emails allows me to go through my untagged Ravelry favorites and sort them all into categories. No, I don't know why I'm doing this. Yesterday I ended up sitting in a heap of yarn and updating my stash and my needles. Not sure why I ended up doing that, either. Bored and restless for something to do that requires limited energy?
I don't even know what I'm going to do with the backlog of work I have to do at this point. Haven caps get dealt with first, that might even get done before I go home, which would be nice. Nanowrimo gets done consistently, then White Lightning and Sandborn edits, and between everything else I guess they might as well just come out around the same time because am I going to get WL edited by November with ten days worth of delay? Am I, bollocks. I need to do the fics I promised for the donations/sponsorship for Nano, I need to get better about plugging Nano sponsorship, I need to work on getting things into dead tree form fucking finally. I was on the verge of screwing my courage to the sticking place for that and then sick. Which apparently derailed me more than I thought. Plus, getting caught up with online classes. I think, irritatingly, I'm just going to have to drop the Italian Opera one because that was the only one with intermittent regular due dates. Everything else is "due end of Dec/beginning of January" which is far, far easier to catch up on.
Bit by bit, I guess. Maybe I'll take lunch and organize that into bite sized chunks for me to do. For today, self, because you know you're going to try and overwork yourself into getting all the things done, you know. So. For the rest of today.
Definitely
1.Caps in Haven posts
2.Nanowrimo word minimum
3. 1 scene of WL Edits
4.2 scenes of Sandborn edits because those are way easier
5.Arabic
6.Low-impact mostly on the floor exercises
Optional/If Time
1. Throw November cards
2. Start edits in one of WL's stories
3. Start a Long Road ficlet for the sponsorship thing.
4. Online classes catchup.
That's doable right? Of course right.
ETA: GUESS WHO'S DISCOVERED FAIR ISLE IS ACTUALLY REALLY EASY ONCE YOU GET THE HANG OF IT. OH YEAH THAT WOULD BE ME.
