Oogh. Irish genitives, man. Irish everything. I feel like I'm going to have to memorize every damn thing right now. At least the memorization of the verbal nouns is coming along. Maybe I can do something similar for the genitive forms.
Ugh the last few days have been exhausting at work. Not everything fell down, I did get some writing done yesterday (!!!) and at least part of the things falling down has been because I haven't been getting to bed as on time as I should. (Oops.) But. Last couple of days, oi. Hopefully today will be better. It certainly looks like it's going to be calmer, anyway.
Wednesday Reads! Which is not so much a Wednesday Reads as a things I am reading. I did plow through the entirety of Skin Game because I am a ginormous dork like that. Pleasantly surprised to see some character developments. A little dismayed by others, though I suppose in at least one of those cases it was only a matter of time. Um. Currently I am reading The Honest Courtesan, which is really interesting if convoluted in places because fucking politics. Fucking Italian politics. Fucking Italian politics at that point in time. And also I am reading A Shiver of Light or whatever it is. The newest Merry Gentry fairy porn book. Which took half the book to get to the porn, I was shocked. Maybe she got tired of writing porn. Or maybe she's not taking her sexual frustrations out in her book characters anymore? (To be clear, I never really objected to it in Merry Gentry, since that's what we were getting at the start. I really objected to it in Anita Black, since it was a massive tone shift from the first few books. But then I stopped reading so now I don't really give two wet shits.)
Anyway. Okay, yeah, today looks at least somewhat more restful in terms of day jobligations, which means I get to tidy up both my head and my workspace, and do some writing while at work rather than cram it all in at home. Woo!
