Four verbs instead of five today, which is about all I have brainpower for, but I think at this point I'm conjugating Irish verbs out of reflex as long as I can tell which conjugation group they belong to. So that's not so bad.
I tried on the two dresses I got for Portland and, surprisingly, they not only fit well, I didn't feel uncomfortable in them. Well, apart from wearing dance shoes instead of heels or something and therefore my feet felt exposed and weird. So, okay. Stockings and shoes and toning up my arms a bit because that was definitely the worst part about looking at myself in the mirror, but that's fine, I've got two months to hit the weights and stop stress-eating so much. Which is the biggest part of it. My exercise habits are about the best they've been in a long time, but my eating habits? AHAHAHAHAHAH. Maybe the next couple of months will be less stressful. (I doubt it.) Maybe I'll find a different habit than stress eating! (More likely.) (Reading would be good.)
Operation Tie Up Loose Ends has become operation get shit done, because some things still require enough work that it's not really tying up loose ends. On the plus side, it seems like that's actually going to happen? Finishing things and all. I'm slowly getting back into the habit of write every day, start a project, organize a project, finish the project. Instead of start a project, something catches fire, remember the project, someone catches sick. Finish the project six months later. Slowly but surely.
So, okay. Today's Operation Get Shit Done for accountability's sake! Woo. Oh, speaking of someone catching sick, the boy went to his doctor again today because his fucking co-workers don't have the sense of a plague doctor and don't know enough not to go in to work when they're sick. Fucksake. Do I have to wade in there and hit people? I will.
10AM Buy stockings, strapless bra, ponder shoe types for Portland/other fancy things. Finish journal entry. Print off workout things.
11AM Finish a couple day job tasks, buying stockings, consulting on Portland shoes.
12PM LUNCH. Russian.
